Matt’s experience spans human resources management, transformation and change leadership within multinationals, the likes of BHP Billiton and Veolia, as well as other organisations across the transport and logistics, natural resources, local and central government, and environmental services sectors.

Matt has worked in global, regional and locally focussed roles and projects in a generalist and specialist capacity making him a true ‘allrounder’ when it comes to people at work.

Matt has been involved in and led projects right across the employee lifecycle from graduate programmes, through international compensation reviews, leadership development programs, workforce planning and mobilisation, people transition and organisational health. Matt has played a key role in business development tendering projects and been a people lead in technology based change.

While Matt has strong generalist experience, most recently as GM HR for the Lyttelton Port Company, he has held a range of specialised roles throughout his career including change management and transformation, remuneration and rewards, systems and processes, people analytics, organisational development, talent acquisition, management and planning, learning and development and performance management.

There are very few corners of the HR field that Matt has not explored and his strength is on drawing from this experience what is required to help his clients with their specific needs.
